How to Mine TRX or Tron Coin Using Your PC in Just Three Steps

So, let’s get started.

Step 1: Get a Tron Wallet

When mining Tron, the most important thing is a Tron wallet. There are several wallets to choose from when it comes to saving your Tron coins; for example, I use TronLink, which is however you can use any one of your choice.

1. Click on download.
2. Download the wallet according to your device. I will go with the browser extension.
3. Click on the extension, then click to create a wallet.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions.
5. Create a password for your wallet.
6. Click “later.” You will see you have 0 Tron in your wallet because we haven’t started mining yet.
7. You will find your wallet link. You can copy your link by pressing here or directly scan from here.

Step 2: Download the Mining Software

Now, go to the Unmineable website.

1. Here, you can see that you can mine various coins by installing this program on your PC. For this post, I will mine Tron coin.
2. Click the download button.
3. Right-click on the mining-included file’s option, then open in a new tab. Your file download will start.
4. Once the download is finished, click to open the location of the file.
5. You cannot install or extract this file because antivirus programs will detect it as a virus and delete the miner. So, you need to turn off your antivirus software first.

Step 3: Configure and Start Mining

1. Open the RUN program from the Start Menu. Type gpedit.msc, then press enter.
2. Click on Administrative Templates, then Windows Components.
3. Find Windows Defender.
4. Click to turn off Windows Defender. In your case, this option will be disabled, so make sure to enable it. Then apply the settings and click OK.
5. Now, extract the file.
6. Double-click to open the miner, then continue.
7. Select the graphics card or CPU for mining based on your PC’s specifications. If you have a good graphics card, select GPU for mining. If not, go with CPU mining.
8. Select the coin you want to mine. For this post, I will mine Tron coin, so I select Tron.
9. Enter your wallet address by copying and pasting it here.
10. Start mining. Depending on your internet connection speed, it will take a couple of minutes.

Mining Settings

1. Click on the gear head icon for settings.
2. There are two settings: low intensity and high intensity mining. If you’re gaming or doing other things in the background, select low intensity. Otherwise, choose high intensity to get more mining rewards.

Payout

• The minimum payout is 15 TRX. Once you mine 15 TRX, it will automatically be sent to the wallet address you provided.
